Are air bubble in the return normal?

Q: Is it a problem if you see the water (which looks like air bubbles) coming out of the return, or should you not see any water coming out of the return? I so have to bleed the filter quite often, I had all the values and pipes checked. I believe I did everything I think I could do to ensure the filter was set up correctly and everything is in the position that its supposed to be, but I feel something is not right and air is getting in. Thank you. Have a nice day.White Pool Coping Vinyl Liner Step and Handrail

A: If your pump is running fine and you have no prime issues bubbles shouldn’t be a problem. They indicate air getting into the system and the filter may be not running at full capacity – but you can still run it. Just watch for loss of water or other symptoms that will indicate more of an issue.
