Pool Care 101:
- Create a routine. Keep your pool care on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Empty your skimmer baskets regularly.
- Balance pool water.
- Backwash your pool’s filters.
- Keep your pool equipment clean.
- Vacuum the bottom of your pool when necessary.
- Test the pool water with test strips or bring in a sample to Ask the Pool Guy.
- If you have one, clean the salt cell chlorinator.
- Make sure no repairs are needed on pool equipment such as pumps, filters, chlorinators, and cleaners.
