Use Stain Free to remove discoloration on your white fiberglass pool steps, or other iron staining in your pool.

Step 1: Balance your pool water.

Step 2: Add Stain Free to the step area of your swimming pool. Allow the product to sit on the steps for a few minutes, and then brush the step above and below the water. Watch the stain fade away.

Step 3. Add a metal sequestering agent to the water. We recommend using Ask the Pool Guy’s Ferri-Tabs or Natural Chemistry’s Metal Free

Step 4: Resume normal operation of your pool, remembering to add Ferri-Tabs if you top off the pool with water that has a residual iron content.
