I currently have a bullnose coping around my pool and my liner is getting replaced. I can’t seem to find online if a pool with Bullnose can be upgraded to a stone coping. Can this be done by only cutting my concrete decking to the size of the room needed to add that coping stone? I understand if it can be done but I don’t want to be ripped off and cause more issues later.

Yes, bullnose coping can be removed and a stone coping put on. Depending on the thickness of the new stone, the patio profile may be different so the prep for the new coping will be important to get it level with everything else. The best time to replace the coping would be when doing a patio as well, though it could be done as a stand alone option.
