If you’ve spent any time with the Pool Guy, you know he rarely lacks words. He loves to talk about the swimming pool industry, and his passion and knowledge shine through when he speaks. We’ve been bringing you words straight from Al via our YouTube channel for some time now, and our videos are very popular. We’ve met many new customers who found us via social media, most commonly on YouTube. Ask the Pool Guy has always been about engaging with pool owners, builders, service companies, and enthusiasts nationwide. We love to engage on social media, and are always looking for new platforms to expand.
We’re really excited about our newest venture into the world of podcasts! With the popularity of our YouTube videos, we wanted to give the Pool Guy more opportunities to share in his own words about the industry he loves so much. This will be a more mobile option, as well, with the opportunity to bring podcasts with you wherever you go. With this podcast, Al plans to get into the big picture and the details of the pool industry, good and bad. It will be less how-to and more philosophical (but you can still catch our YouTube videos for things like how to change the sand in your filter and how to test your water for chemicals!), and it will be an open platform to Al and others to share their passion, knowledge, and wisdom about the swimming pool industry–and life in general.
On a professional level, Al knows an incredible amount about building pools and has wonderful wisdom about the industry. But on a personal level, he’s a wise individual. He enjoys thinking and talking about philosophical ideas, and inspires those around him to consider life on a deeper level. The podcast series will be an opportunity for Al to share his thoughts on pools, the industry, and life in general–because they are all interconnected.
So keep an eye (and an ear) out for more news about Ask the Pool Guy’s podcast coming soon! We’ll be testing and experimenting in December, and going live in January. This is something we hope to continue for a long time, and we hope you’ll listen and enjoy. If you have any questions you’d like addressed in a podcast, leave a comment and let us know!
