I just cleaned some of my tile that had green and black mold inside the pool. About a foot of tile was cleaned. The acid base tile cleaner liquid also landed in the pool water since I was cleaning it. Is it safe to swim in the pool? After I did this I read online that this acid is harmful. The pool store close to my house recommended for me to use this. But now concerned.
Answer:
HI – acid once dissolved in water is safe to swim in – it is just straight out of the bottle that it is an issue. Acid is also used to lower ph or alkalinity levels in swimming pools – so you are fine!
