It is important to not turn the multiport handle while you pool is running. If you do, the force of the water will move the spider gasket inside of the multiport, which keeps the water where it is supposed to be! Another reason the gasket may start to leak is if the multiport is not bolted together properly, or if the gasket is just old and worn out.
