My skimmer basket has no suction. Bugs and depris not sucking in. But when I vacuum I have lots of suction. Water coming in pool very good pressure. Do I use a skimmer door?

Yes, if you have good suction while vacuuming and the debris aren’t going in you can do a couple of things. One is make sure the skimmer basket is fully seated in the skimmer. The second is to direct your return jets so water is pushing debris toward the skimmer, and third, you can add a weir door to your skimmer.
If find that often the jets make the most difference. If they gently ripple the water they have a better chance of directing debris where it needs to go.
