Adding a concrete zero/beach entry to a vinyl liner pool.

Hi, It’s time to replace our vinyl liner and renovate the pool and pool deck. I have to possibly replace a large portion of our concrete pool deck as it has been sinking. Our pool is a wood frame, vinyl pool that is about 20 years old. I want to add a zero/beach entry to the pool while we are doing this. I would like for the entry to not be vinyl as I am concerned with tears. What are the best options for tying the vinyl liner in. Can we use the same faceplate that is used on a step install?
