When I vacum my pool my vacums filter has fine particles of brown debris in it. The pool looks real good. Within 24hrs later the particles have returned, same areas of the bottom of my pool. I have my water tested at home and with a pool supply store. They say my test shows almost perfect balance. When I turn my pump off then turn it back on more particles also show up. Within the last 24hrs I have cleaned my sand filter. It seems if my pump is not running after I vacum there are no particles at the bottom of my pool. Please what could be the cause?
Brown particles returning to the pool when the filter is running would indicate the filter needs maintenance, or if you have any leaks in plumbing lines it could be pulling dirt in through return lines. Those would be the first things to check.
