To add a salt water chlorine generator to your existing pool will include adding the generator, a power supply, a zinc anode to handle any trace voltage of electricity, and adding the appropriate amount of salt to your pool. Your best option is to work with a service company that you like who has the knowledge to guide you into choosing the right brand for your equipment pad. Some cells take up more room, others have their own operating nuances. We like the Pentair intelliChlor and the Zodiac/Jandy AquaPure. The Hayward Aqua Rite is also a nice system if you want to keep it all in the same brand.

The most important thing is to have it installed correctly and keep maintaining your chemicals.
