Dirt or Algae at bottom of pool, can’t tell

Hello, I’ve been noticing a lot of brownish sediment at the bottom of our pool lately. It’s loose and breaks up quickly if brushed. I vacuum the pool with a robotic vacuum each day. And in some instances, I notice a build up again of sediment hours after vacuuming. I tried using skimmer socks to help, in fact I noticed a large amount of sediment built up on the skimmer socks as well. I recently had the water tested, and all levels were fine except the alkalinity which was a little on the high side. We use a Power Ionizer (copper minerals) to sanitize the water and shock once a week and I have a Hayward 150 Xstream cartridge filter. Where I live in the Northeast, we’ve had issues with a lot of pollen this spring so far. Before I being doing any kind of algae, would like to get some professional opinion and thoughts of what I could be?
