We have a had many problems with a plaster finish over ICF block pool constructions–it has been applied 3 times and has developed major cracks and pool drainage in the last 2 years. Our pool contractor has suggested the eco finish product. He stated with was fine to apply over a plaster finish. I am concerned about this because the base is ICF block with the plaster coating on top of it. What do you think. Worried the heat from application of the product could transmit thru the plaster to the underlying block and damage them.
