We have seen ecoFinish used over existing tile, however we have not installed it over tile ourselves. If the tile is compromised in any way ie loose or falling/chipping, the defects will likely get worse with ecoFinish application.

Remember that the tile is there to allow for a cosmetic finish to hide the “bathtub” ring that comes from the water level fluctuation in a pool – so you may not be happy having it all the way up.
