am installing 2” flex pipe in our underground pool, should it be installed before pouring the base footing collar or after(below or on top)

Typically the footing goes in as soon as the pool is bolted together. It would make sense to add pipe (or a space for the pipe) so it can go under the wall and under the footing to the main drains. Otherwise it’s digging and chipping to get it through after the footing is in.
