First I would add more water to the pool. If you have lost some due to evaporation, or if you have added any additional chlorine to the pool you could have higher salt readings. If after adding water, the light is still flashing, I’d do a partial drain and refill – take out a couple of inches of water and refill with fresh. Do it in small enough increments so you don’t lower your salt level too much.

I’d also recommend a cleaning of the salt cell just to be sure it is reading accurately. You may also want to check the salt reading with external salt test strips to verify your equipment is working correctly.
