ic40 – plugged in, not working

247 viewsSalt Generator

Love the content you produce on YouTube but can’t find anything pertaining to a Pentair (brand new and just installed) not functioning after connecting the cable; wondering if there is a specific action or step I am supposed to follow to “turn it on”, I can’t find any information that states having to do so specifically?

The salt generator cell itself should be plug and play – if the power source has been installed correctly whether it is the transformer, or if you are adding the cell to an automation panel, as long as it’s hooked up correctly it should turn on. Be careful where you purchase them from – online internet sources are not reliable. If you purchased from a pool company, they should be able to replace it/help troubleshoot your issue.
