Intellichlor IC20 Blowing fuses.

I have an IC20 Intellichlor salt generator as part of my pool system. Recently my Pentair SuperFlo pump 2 hp (which was old and somewhat rusty) began shorting out. I would turn it on and it would spark and trip the breaker. I replaced the pump and started it up and the IC20 blew it’s fuse. I replaced the fuse, started up again, and it blew the fuse again. I tried a third time and same result. Why would it be doing this? Can a power surge cause damage to the IC20 cell? (of which there were several with the pump tripping the breaker). Can I fix this or do I need to purchase a new replacement cell?

I see your videos, but not sure how I would find your answer to this. Please, before I purchase another cell; I don’t want to spend the money if something else in the system might damage a new one.
