Is it possible to move pool cleaner to separate pump?

I have a in-ground pool and spa with a single pump through a Hayward de filter. The intake of the pump pulls from two bottom drains (connected to one valve), two skimmers and a pool cleaner. The output of the pump goes through the filter, heater and then to the spa fountain, two sprays on the wall, two bubblers on the main step ledge and the main pool return around the pool.

The problem is I don’t get good suction on the cleaner unless I turn off the main drain and shut the skimmers valves way down. Is it possible to add a second pump with the inlet tied directly to the cleaner suction line, removing it from the main pool pump and then tie the outlet of the second pump into the same outlet line of the first filter going to the multiport valve?
