Hi Pool Guy and Girl,I attempted the Muriatic Acid test and it worked. My question is how do i now do the larger areas throughout my 20×40, 8′ deep? Will the acid create major water chemistry issues? Thanks Joe in NJ

A couple of ways to remove organic stains, if you add a couple of gallons of muriatic acid, and brush regularly for a day or two you’ll likely lessen all the stains. Once you have done that and brushed and 24-48 hours have passed, then re-balance your water and it should be much improved!
