What happens to the IC-40 Pentair cell that it would have a predictable life of 10,000 hours? It seems that this is contrived by Pentair and controlled by the circuit board programming more so than the actually titanium plates “going bad”. Why not let the cell continue to function verse programming it to fail? Do all salt cells have failure built into the unit? Is there a way to “override” the programming?
Thanks, Brian
