Pool chemicaLs

After checking my pool chemicals and adjusting them, they were close to being in their respectful range. I took a sample to Leslie’s where they were way off. Took the same sample to pinch a Penney and they were worse than Leslie’s. The salt reading for Leslie’s and pinch a penny were over 3400, 3707 and 3900 respectfully my reading was 3150, The generator stated that it was generating salt. My question is which test should I believe? Leslie’s and pinch a penny both said that their tests are accurate, but my reading were in the range and the pool looks good.

Your salt cell will be the ultimate judge of whether the pool has enough salt. If it’s working, monitor the level based on your generator and it will likely be okay. Since generators have a range the level can fluctuate a bit and still be okay.
