Reactions from mixing metals

I have a “permasalt” pool above ground. Uses a copper ionizing rod. Is it safe to use copper or stainless heat exchanger for my pool heater? I’ve heard certain metal combinations can react badly and reduce the life of liner. I would assume copper exchanger would be fine since it’s a copper ionizer. I currently have a stainless coil as heat exchanger; Will this react negatively with the copper?
