I have a small 6,000 gal. Salt pool. Bottom drain inop. Pool guy added whole bag of salt & left. Shouldn’t it be brushed around?

I have a pebble tech finish. He dumped full bag of salt in deep end & like I said, the bottom drain was closed off. The pool guy that put the new finish said, no big deal, you don’t need bottom drain working as it’s a small pool.
