Tiles that fall off can be patched. Or if the damage is severe, the tile can be stripped off and the entire slide re-tiled or a new surface of concrete could be put on, smoothed out, and a product such as eco-Finish applied to the surface.

For extra slip on a slide, we find that turtle car wax works well for an added slickness.
