I have a gunite pool(12,000gal) with a spa(600gal) attached. I definitely have a leak in the spa and would like to try “Fix a Leak” first,before ripping out cement. Mark did a youtube video on this product and I have 2 questions

1. Do I need to bypass the heater and/or chlorinator ( I understand to take the pump basket and my cartridge filter out) the only way I know to bypass those 2 would be to get a plumber to fit a pipe from the filter to the exit pipe
2. Should I take the cover off the spa drain when I pour the product in the spa
