I am interested in getting my slide painted, as I don’t like the current color and was wondering what type of paint would be required here…. it is not fiberglass it’s definitely a hard plastic.

For your slide I’d try to track down a manufacturer of slides like yours. I don’t know what the best paint solution would be – if the slide is a hard fiberglass or resin, they’ll be able to give you the best advice. A few slide manufacturers to check into would be:
