How do I know when it is time to replace my plastic winter pool cover?

You shoudl replace the pool cover when you can see visible holes or damage. OR when you hold it up to the light and you can see through it, it’s time. If you try to reuse a cover that is see-through you’ll just have water seep through the cover into or out of the pool – not a great idea. When in doubt, replace!
