Which Parts do I need to fix my Salt Cell?

I apparently need to purchase some replacements parts for my salt generator but not sure which parts to order from your website. The generator has no light for “power” or “cell”, however the salt level light is reading “low” (the pool is green but we had a flow issue that has been resolved), the “flow” light is green, and the “sanitizer output” lights are green at 20%, 40%, and 60%. How can I tell which parts I need to purchase to get this cell up and running again? Or if I need a new cell, which troubleshooting methods can I perform to determine that?

From what you are explaining it sounds like you have the Pentair intelliChlor salt cell?

The cell doesn’t have parts that can be replaced if it is a newer model – if it is an older model chances are you should just replace the cell as they have been out of production for a while now. So to fix the cell or assess how much life it has left, first press and hold the more button for three seconds. The unit will check the status and display a percentage of life that the unit has operated. 20%=2000 hours. You have until the unit goes to 100% of life status before you need to replace the cell.

Add salt until your salt light is green. If it is red, you may want to use a dip stick to test the salt level in the pool currently so you know what you are aiming for. The intelliChlor series looks for a salt ppm of 3600 as ideal. Read the label on the bag of salt so you know how much to add, and only add 1-2 bags at a time unless you recently drained the pool and you know you need to start from 0 for the salt.
