Rod pockets can be used to install a vinyl liner over a concrete or steel step. Some steel steps come prepared with a liner bead receiver built in. If they do not, the rod pocket and steel or rebar rod are able to be added to a rod pocket welded on the vinyl liner itself to ensure vinyl stays where you need it to on your vinyl covered step.
