Fiberglass pools are pre-made and set into a hole in the ground. Once it is inserted into the pre-dug hole, everything is then placed around it and inside it. Fiberglass pools require the least amount of swimming pool maintenance and provide a quick install.
Vinyl pools are constructed with steel walls and a hard bottom. The vinyl liner (which is like a heavy plastic) is then placed over the floor and steel walls. These structures have unlimited shape and size potential.
Gunite pools use rebar framework that is sprayed over with a concrete and sand mixture. These are the pools you normally see in hotels, swim parks, and schools or colleges. The surface is normally rough.
Hybrid pools are a combination of gunite and vinyl. These pools are unique and are a favorite of The Pool Guy’s. You can create more shapes, elements, and features with gunite. After the pool structure is created, part of the pool is covered with a vinyl liner.
