Mark says the filter builds up with debris. When you backwash, it sends the dirty water to a waste line. When rinsing you clean out your line so the water doesn’t go back into the pool. Skipping a rinse cycle will cause clouding in the pool water. Watch the video to hear Mark speak on this topic.
