The cells, when combined with an easyTouch or intelliTouch control center need to be enabled to tell them to turn on and start working. If the pool is just being opened in the spring, there is a chance even enabled the cells will not work. They are equipped with a temperature sensor, which won’t work when the water is too cold, below 52 degrees F it turns off. Once it is above that range it will begin to make your chlorine. Enable, and then monitor the cell and water temp so it will kick on and start making chlorine when it reaches the right temperature.
