I’m replacing the filter on my 24000 gallon in ground pool. The filter I’m replacing (Hayward c1500 cartridge filter) is no longer available, and I don’t know if the Hayward 1200 will be sufficient enough to do the job.. I have 1.5hp and 1 1/2″ pipes.. Any help would be greatly appreciated… Thanks

I ran your question by the pool guy – sounds like you need a smaller pump to go to the smaller filter, or go with a larger size to make sure the pump isn’t too powerful for the size filter you have.
