Calcium Hardness Increase in ecoFinish Pool

764 viewschemicals

I used calcium chloride to maintain a calcium hardness level of 200ppm for my saltwater fiberglass pool. I recently had my pool refinished with EcoFinish coating. What is the recommended calcium hardness level, and are there any precautions for using calcium chloride granules, which do tend to settle on the bottom for a short period before dissolving? Or, is there a different chemical recommended for increasing calcium hardness in EcoFinish pools?

You are fine to continue with the same calcium hardness level of 200ppm for ecofinish – and you can still increase in the same way, just brush granules as you notice them to help with the dissolving process.
