My manufacturer states that i should use glass media with a thickness of 0.4-0.8mm, is it a problem if i put glass from 0.4-1.2mm? Will i damage the pump or will the efficiency decrease?

When using glass filter media we have always used Dr. Dryden’s Activate – it comes in two sizes, fine and coarse. The coarse is needed at the bottom over the fingers and the fine on top of that. So I’d double check if there are multiple options that you need to look into.
