We purchased a home with an existing 16 x 32 vinyl liner pool with fiberglass sidewalls.
The fiberglass steps are outside the shallow end of the pool and the flange is cracked.
What is your advice on using dense Geo foam blocks to create a new shape inside the pool for seating steps and a sun ledge? Installation guidance to keep the blocks from floating?
We are planning to go back with a new vinyl liner and fill in where the fiberglass steps were located.

We don’t have any experience using geo foam blocks, so can’t offer much advice there. Hopefully you can devise a solution to keep them in place – perhaps with stainless straps/screws? We’ll be curious how it turns out for you, please do share if you are able to make it work!
