Water chemistry?

There’s a lot more going on than just salt. I’ve had recommendations to elevate calcium hardness to 350-450, CYA to 70-80, FC up to 6ppm, and ignore phosphates.
Wet Edge Tech told me that my pool will scale above 250 CH.
I recently did a partial drain to get CYA down to 40, and I’ve had no need to go above 2-4ppm on FC except for periodic shocks. And I’ve ignored phosphates entirely.
I’m a little perplexed at the contradictions!

I’ll be installing a CircuPool RJ+ as soon as I get my salt level up to 3500.
