The truth about ecoFinish is that it is an amazing product. There is a key to it being installed correctly – it needs to be done by an installer that is approved by ecoFinish and who knows what they are doing. Prep of the pool surface is critical, in the case of using ecoFinish on stainless steel, the surface will need to be sandblasted first to achieve the proper surface to apply the ecoFinish process to. If this is not followed, delamination is possible (and often likely). The process is also critical, by following the ecoFinish protocol will help the installer achieve a chemical bond AND a mechanical bond for the best finish possible!
