We tend to use Pentair- it seems to have more of a user interface for customers to see what is going on at a glance with lights and ease of operation.

That is unlikely to help. If you have significant trouble moving the handle the spring may need to be replaced, or a new multiport may be needed. Some are tough but they shouldn’t be that difficult to move.
